hi Tim, I think he's got a good point, however, I've listened to a lot of Mark's sermons and I noticed how often he mentions what a great family he has, how long he's been married to his wife, kids etc. He is right to say don't worship family but when he mentions his family often, I don't find it helpful cause I start to think, that's what I should have. That's probably just my problem!?
Katie, I can understand that. I haven't listened to a lot of his stuff. I have been impressed that he seems to talk openly about their sixth child who died. In talking about that he opens up some of the heartache of marriage and family life in a realistic, God honouring, marriage honouring way. Tim
